Static and dynamic pages…

Lets see what that is about.  So here is a page.  Mostly a request for assistance actually.

I am trying to understand how I can grab feeds from this place and have them appear in a webpage.  The closest I have been to the procedure is experimenting with what is explained in the following site:

 http://www.xul.fr/en-xml-rss.html

Either I am missing something, or I tried it in a server not allowing the php script, although I doubt it.

Blogging is user friendly and takes over quickly, but some webpages remain as strong links for some people to get information.  I haven’t used the asp (?) scripting either, which would do the job of updating a calendar.

At the moment it is the automatic inclusion of blog feeds into a webpage what I am interested in doing.  I’ve done the opposite… sending a feed from an html into a blog… (I think that is what I did…) using

http://www.rss-to-javascript.com/

and that is thanks to Charlie….

You can find two kinds of pages under Write (in the dashboard area)

PAGES – static (like websites – for articles, about pages, CV or material which will not vary a lot)
POSTS – dynamic – which is the blog that you update regularly .

You can categorize your posts (manage categories) and also your links depending on the kind of template you choose. If the original template does not allow you to have it the way you want it, you can force it a bit by using the sidebar widgets in the Presentation tab (dashboard).
